Nowadays, knowing how to type fast is almost compulsory worldwide, since the computer has become an integral part of our daily lives.
Younger generations, already born to master touch screens, begin to learn to type on the keyboard even before they go to school, and the elderly, in turn, are increasingly learning about the digital world and integrating social networks.
Between 2012 and 2017, the percentage of people who use the internet grew from 8% to 19%, according to a survey by the Regional Center for Studies for the Development of the Information Society.
But will all users know how to type quickly and use their ten fingers on keyboard in order to optimize typing without errors?
Knowing how to type well does not mean just typing fast. Being able to type well is able to write quietly in word-processing software – Word or Open Office – using keyboard shortcuts, without typing errors and without creating work-harming addictions.
Like in the good old days of the typewriter, typing is an art!
And, as in all fields of art, to speed up your typing speed on keyboard, you need to go through typing test for beginners that require time and perseverance.
Get a good posture to learn how to type well on the keyboard
Who still looks for the letters and types using only two fingers, writing at most five or six words per minute – the famous “taste the corn”? To learn how to type the computer keyboard, there are not many secrets. The first tip is: you need to be well installed.
Do not sneak on your couch to write. Good posture on the computer avoids problems with repetitive stresses. When typing, avoid making the same movement with your hands for a long time. And attention: forget about your comfy sofa or your bed!
